Prints by Local Blackpool Artist displayed at the Phildene click on image for more info HELLO THIS IS ME And my name is Marko Prenger I was born in Blackpool and currently still reside there until I can gather enough funds to move into somewhere new, its always good to have a change of scenery don’t you think? ::::::::::
I have always loved to draw and doodle since a very young age, started off my drawing my favorite cartoon like The Ghostbusters and The Thundercats.::::::::::
It was in high school when I realised this is my one true passion so I decided to continue it at college with a Fine Arts and Design National Diploma. It definitely spread my skills and helped me develop my skills in painting and sculpture. ::::::::::
After college it was off to Leeds Met University I went, and studied a Fine Art BA Honours degree course. It was here where I discovered my love for oil paintings; this was my main medium throughout university while experimenting with etching prints, clay sculptures and installations. My final degree show was an installation covered in intimate paintings, sculptures, etching books and decor. Pictures of my final degree show can be seen on the Portfolio page and a little explanation of how it came to be is written underneath them.::::::::::
Since university I have carried on with my passion for painting and raised enough funds to take myself on a round the world trip including China,
Indonesia, New Zealand and everywhere in between. It was an incredible experience and some of the pictures I took are on sale in the Prints page.::::::::::
Now I am open for business as I try to make a career using the only skill I have, because I believe that art just isn’t for the elite anymore, it is for everybody to enjoy. Please feel free to look around the website and if you see anything you like or have any opportunities available for an artist like me get in touch from the Contact page. ::::::::::
Thanks for stopping by and giving this a little read, remember to keep checking in for updates, offers and new work I’ll be doing for commissions and exhibitions.
